These hand-woven silk scarves from local
villages in the Northeast are created
with a special type of handloom and a
special weaving method. Weft and warp
yarns with various colours are woven to
create a variety of patterns and
colours.
Each piece of scarf is
originally handmade, so colours, sizes,
and patterns of the scarves are uniquely
created and no two scarves will look
exactly the same. The patterns at the
end of each scarf is a unique work of
art and are different one each scarf.
The overall looks of the
scarves with the same product code are
similar while the background colours and
the end patterns are uniquely created
and are different on each scarf. |
