The fabric is produced by weaving coloured thick yarns together, with white yarns being tied up at particular intervals. It is less shining, in comparison with other types of Thai silk fabrics, and is quite rough.

          The fabrics are good for furniture upholstery. They are also good as table cloth, cushion covers, and home decoration. They can be used as materials for different types of clothing, too.
