Thai silk fabrics with corrugated
patterns are woven with sets of small
yarns. The warp yarns are inserted with
the weft yarns in such a way that the
corrugated patterns are created. They
can be used as materials for suits or
any garments which require thick
fabrics. They can also be used as
curtains and for furniture upholstery.
There are two
categories of Thai silk fabrics with
corrugated patterns:
1. A5 fabrics with the width of 100 cm.
(as shown in the picture above)
2. A6 fabrics, thicker than A5, with the
width of 100 cm. (as shown in the
picture on the right)
